Voiceover pricing can include two parts: a session fee, which covers the voice actor's time and recording of the script, and a usage fee, which covers the rights to use the recording for advertising, broadcast, or other public distribution. For commercial and broadcast work, usage is typically charged separately and depends on factors such as where the audio will be used and for how long. For corporate, e-learning, internal, or other non-broadcast projects, usage may be included in the quoted price — however, I will always discuss usage beforehand so we can agree on the costs and there are no unexpected charges later.

Can I direct the session live, or is it recorded remotely and sent over?

I can record the audio remotely and send it in the format of your choice, with any directions you want to give beforehand, for example tricky pronunciations. Otherwise you can listen in to the recording and direct as we go along, whatever works best for you.

How quickly can a project be turned around?

It depends on the length of the script and whether other skills are required, for example lip-syncing which takes extra time, but usually I can deliver finished audio within 2 working days of terms being agreed.

What accent(s) does Laura offer?

RP or Standard English is my natural accent but I have also worked as a comedian and impressionist live and on the BBC and can perform many different accents.
